The suction cup is horribly undersized and weak for this product. Like the reviews say it got to be something like glass or absolutely sparkling perfectly smooth tile to stick. I tried with a smooth wood veneer desk and it holds "maybe" a minute under its own weight. Cleaned both with alcohol. Tried with a little water. Nothing worked well. And it's non-refundable which is not mentioned when you order. Waste of money. I might be able to jury rig it with a harbor fright $10 suction clamp to make it useable. Highly disappointed

Most of the complaints I've seen is that the suction cup doesnt stick very well on most surfaces. This problem is easily fixed with a "90mm Adhesive Mounting Disk for car dashboards". They make little mounting plates that stick to your car dash that provides the ideal smooth surface to mount a suction cup gps or phone or whatever. I got one for $5 and the thing is now SOLID. I sometimes struggle to get it off.

This actually works really well for me despite what some other reviews say. The suction power is great on my plastic shower wall as well as the tile wall in my other shower. If you mount it to a wet surface it will slide around a little so I would mount it to dry surfaces only. It’s Also pretty expensive for what it is but there are no other cheaper options
